You Are Light Of The World

Matthew 5:14
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.”

When you are placed in uncomfortable situation, know that you are secure in the Father’s arms of love and protection. God did not call us to be comfortable but to live outside of our comfort zones so that Christ in us may manifest. Matthew 5:14 says that you are light of the world.

A light is useless in a place that is bright but a light is needed in dark places so that it may shine and bring light that is why God may place us in situations that calls forth the light inside us. Don’t be surprised when you face difficult situations and people, for these are opportunities for you to shine and be the light of the world.

God has made you more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus. God knows that you can and will overcome any obstacles and temptations for He will not give you more than you can bear. This is who you really are – you are light of this world and you are called to shine most especially in the darkest places. Christ who is inside you is the hope of glory.
So as you pray before the Heavenly Father, acknowledge who God says you really are and thank Him for the victory that Christ Jesus has already won for you. You are born to be an overcomer and a child of God who brings light in darkest of places.
