Your Private Life Is More Important To God

Matthew 6:1–4 teaches us that God is more concerned with what we do in private than what we show in public. With social media, it’s tempting to display our good deeds for likes and applause. While it’s not wrong to be Christ-like in public, it’s far better to be Christ-like when no one is watching.

Jesus warned against doing good deeds to be admired by others. When we give to the poor or help the needy, we should not seek credit. The Father sees in secret and will reward us openly. He examines our hearts to see whether our actions are for His glory or personal gain. Our hearts are like treasure boxes, and God rewards what is done sincerely in secret.
