HOW TO SILENCE THE CARNAL MIND

Christians enter the Kingdom of God as born again believers but end up living according to their old nature and not according to the Holy Spirit. The sad part is one can live that way the entire time here on earth and completely miss the Kingdom realities and be ultimately deceived into thinking they will enter the Kingdom of God. The bible tells us repeatedly through Revelation 22:15, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:5, 1 Timothy 1:9 and Hebrews 12:14 that those who live in the flesh will not be able to inherit the Kingdom of God or even enter it.(Refer to the scriptures below)

Beloved brothers and sisters, it is quite dangerous to keep living in such a deception especially when Christ has come and we have been given a new nature by Him in His image. So the hope is it is possible to live in the Spirit and truth of God’s word. All that carnal mind produced in our lives only resulted into mess. But the solution lies in not listening and following the voice of the carnal mind and rewiring ourselves according to God’s reality for us. This is available in His word and His Spirit helps and empowers us to walk in Him.

Watch this clear example of how carnal mind operates by brother Pete Cabrera Jr. and end the repeating patterns of the flesh in your lives. Be blessed!

Revelation 22:15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
1 Timothy 1:9 knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers
Hebrews 12:14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord
