GOD IS OUR HELPER AND FATHER

GOD is our creator, He is our guide, GOD is our father, He is our savior and He is all the support and help we need. When GOD created man, He decided to support man. The Bible says that GOD wanted man to be good and He did not see man good to be alone; therefore He made a helper for man. From that day forward, GOD has been the helper of man. “And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (Genesis 2: 18 KJV)

Anyone who walks in the path of GOD can claim a free relationship of being His child. GOD is our father. How do we know this? Well, Jesus taught us to pray and he taught us to start “Our father in heaven”. For a Christian, nothing but Bible should be the source of teaching; because the bible contains the word of GOD. The words of the Bible are inspired by GOD. So let us do some case study out of the Holy Bible. “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name” (Matthew 6: 9 KJV)

As early as we know, in the days of Cain and Abel, GOD helped Abel. Don’t get the wrong impression that GOD would bless and help only the ones that worship Him. He helps even the ones that do not love Him, when they ask for help. GOD helped Cain too; when he asked for help, even he did not like and love GOD. “Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.  And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him” (Genesis 4: 14, 15 KJV)

We will be His people and He will be our GOD if obey His words. He promised it to the Jews in the Old Testament and then He promised it to all that come to him in the New Testament. When Daniel was thrown in front of lions, GOD helped him. When Moses said that he was not able to carry on GOD’s mission, because he thought he was not qualified, GOD helped him with an assistant.

The life of our savior Jesus Christ was a help for the entire human race to get out of sin. Jesus helped the woman who was accused of prostitution. GOD helped John to understand the things that are going to happen in the future. GOD helped many more people in their live; there are hundreds of examples in the Bible.

It is not only about the things in the world that our GOD becomes our helper, but it is also the spiritual help where He becomes our father. He allows us to be tested, knowing that it builds us. GOD would never put us on a test which is too harder for us; that is exactly what a father cares for his children. After making the heavens and earth, He came for us. He loves us so much, that he came after us; that is why he wants us to be on the right track. There is no one but GOD is our helper and father.
