JESUS CHRIST- THE EXAMPLE FOR EVERY CHRISTIAN

If you are a grown up and a Christian, you should have had examples of people in your life for both how to be a good person and how not to be a bad person. I had many people around me. All different kinds of people; all had good qualities. But sadly, almost all of them had bad qualities too. Almost any man, woman, child or teenager I have met in my life were both examples of good qualities as well as bad qualities. There can only be one person who lived on earth that can be set up as the example for ONLY the good qualities; and nothing bad, absolutely nothing. That is Jesus Christ, the savior, the Lord and God almighty himself.
In Mathew 7:12, Jesus said “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” What a great example does he set up even in his words! There is no other person that has set up for us such an example of a higher quality attitude.
Jesus was so faithful that his father gave him testimony; one that even earthly fathers might not give to their earthly sons. In Mathew 3:17 we read that “And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased”. Now Jesus was not just excellent in his words; he was excellent in his deeds as well. And his father said that he was “well pleased” in him! What an example?
Can anyone of us get the same testimony from anyone else? But we can get a testimony from God that is the measure that shows us that we are actually walking our father’s way. He told us to forgive others; and he did what he said. He forgave even the ones who killed him. He told us walk as per the God wants us to; and he walked the same way God wanted him to. He took it up to death; and never withdrawing from God’s path for him.
These are only a few examples for you but there is more. There are hundreds in the bible. And if you imagine all the years he lived on earth, and some reporters went behind him and wrote all of what he did, imagine, he never did something wrong! What a marvelous example our good Lord Jesus is for every Christian?
Some will argue that he was God so he did it. Wait a minute; he was not God in the flesh, he was in a human flesh. He fainted so much that he calls as in Mathew 26:39 “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt”. He did not do this as God, if he was using his Godly powers; he shouldn’t have had to cry like that. See the obedience, even when going for death, he says, not as my will, but as you do, father!
Any successful Christian should have Jesus as the perfect example for them. There is no name given under the heavens or above the earth other our savior’s.
