I know you are asking yourself, Is God really for you? Or if God is for me why I am going through this trouble? If God is for me why did this thing happen to me and my family? You know we can have a lot of why’s and a lot of questions but this does not change the fact that God is for us. God’s word is a sure word. Once He said it, it will come to pass if we obey. He said I will never leave you nor forsake. His Spirit lives within us that is why we are called Christians.
Neale Donald Walsch once made a profound statement when he said “God is in the sadness and the laughter, in the bitter and the sweet. There is a divine purpose behind everything — and therefore a divine presence in everything.”
So how then do we know God is for us. Isaiah 49:16 reads “I have written your name on my hand! Just imagine how powerful this is, God has your name written on His hand. He looks at it and says, that’s my child Billy, that’s my daughter Melany, that’s my this and that. Even if you do something wrong, He is cheering you up because He knows you can make it right. He is saying always to you, my Son or my Daughter you may have fallen but remember the righteous fall seven times and they don’t stay there, but they rise up seven times. Rise up my child you can make it.
If there is anything I would like you to keep repeating to yourself, then it would be “God is for us! GOD IS FOR YOU, God is For Me”
Your parents may have forgotten you, your teachers may have neglected you, your siblings may be ashamed of you; but within reach of your prayers is the maker of the oceans. God! God is for you! If he had a calendar, your birthday would be circled. If there’s a tree in heaven, he’s carved your name in the bark. Isaiah 49:16 says, “I have written your name on my hand!” No one can defeat you. You are protected. God is for you! Don’t walk defeated, walk like the son of the King. Don’t let the devil try to lie to you. He is for you.

Dear God. Thank you for always being with me even when it never feels like it. Thank you for loving me so much. Thank you for the great things which abound for me. In Jesus name. Amen
