WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT

I. THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE TRINITY
Early church leaders described the Trinity using the term ‘perichoresis’. ‘Peri’–meaning circle and ‘choresis’meaning dance. God has always existed as the Trinity and always acts as the Trinity.

II. THE HOLY SPRIT AND JESUS AS MAN
John 3:34 AMP –For since He Whom God has sent speaks the words of God, proclaims God’s own message, God does not give Him His Spirit sparingly or by measure, but boundless is the gift God makes of His Spirit!
Luke 4:14 AMP –Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the Holy Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region round about.
Luke 4:18-19 MKJV – (18) The Spirit of the Lord is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed, (19) to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.

III. THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THE BELIEVER
I Corinthians 6:19 AMP –Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received as a Gift from God?
I John 3:24b AMP –And by this we know and understand and have proof that He really lives and makes His home in us: by the Holy Spirit Whom He has given us.
