BIBLE VERSE ABOUT ANGER

They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them,

Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime;weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;do not fret—it leads only to evil.

It is you alone who are to be feared.  Who can stand before you when you are angry?

The Lord is gracious and compassionate,slow to anger and rich in love.

A quick-tempered person does foolish things, and the one who devises evil schemes is hated.

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. A hot-tempered person stirs up conflict,  but the one who is patient calms a quarrel.

Better a patient person than a warrior,one with self-control than one who takes a city.

A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Better to live in a desert than with a quarrelsome and nagging wife.

Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered,

25 or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared.

Anger is cruel and fury overwhelming, but who can stand before jealousy?

An angry person stirs up conflict, and a hot-tempered person commits many sins.

Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.

4 But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry.

22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister[a][b] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’[c] is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.

21 Fathers,[a] do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.

19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, 20 because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.
