Your Life Has A Purpose
Verse: 1 Peter 2:9
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
When God chose you and called you in Christ Jesus to be His child, your old self had already died and you have become a new creation. Everything about you now is surrounded by the Father’s love, protection and salvation through Jesus Christ and His will becomes the path that you desire to walk on and obey. But the enemy can always blind a believer’s mind by bringing the past along with condemnation, guilt and shame. And sometimes, you can fall into his trick believing that you are still that old self and there’s no way that you’re ever going to change because there’s no hope for you. Such are the lies of the enemy. You don’t have to entertain it and believe in it for you know that God’s Word is the only truth proven to be alive, real and faithful to what it says! You are now a new creation and your life has a big purpose when God called you and chose you in Christ. 1 Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…”
You have been taken out of darkness when you received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior! Sometimes, in order to see that new creation manifest, you only have to believe and start walking in it! God no longer remembers your past and He has chosen you to be a royal priesthood, a chosen generation, holy and set apart from this world that you may glorify God and bring praises unto Him!
So when you pray to the Father, simply thank Him for who He created you to be! Acknowledge that you are now a new creation in Christ and that your past no longer defines you! He called you out of darkness into His marvelous light and chose you as a holy nation, set apart, chosen generation, and a royal priesthood. Your life brings glory to God and that is the truth!
