WHERE TO FIND ENCOURAGEMENT?

Are you a born again Christian? Have you been going around looking for answers and encouragement somewhere? I have come to realize that the best place to find encouragement is the Bible. So if you are asking yourself, where can I find encouragement today. It is right there .WHERE? IN THE BIBLE

“For whatever was thus written in former days was written for our instruction, that by [our steadfast and patient] endurance and the encouragement [drawn] from the Scriptures we might hold fast to and cherish hope. Romans 15:4”

Romans 15:4 tells us that we should draw encouragement from the scriptures.

Did you lose your job today? Are you thinking of where your next bread is going to come from? Remember this verse “In all things God works for the good of those who love him.”

If you are grieving today, remember what God has said in His word, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Do you have friends who are struggling? Are you lost of words and don’t know what to tell them? Open the good book (the Bible)

Did you survive from a deadly disease? Someone needs to hear your story to be encouraged.

Have you painfully buried a love one but still have the smile on your face? Then find the recently widowed or someone who has lost the loved one and walk with them.

Don’t allow that problem to overcome you, you have to overcome it so you can be of help to someone going through the same problem. Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 that God is the source of every mercy, and the one who so wonderfully comforts and strengthens us in our hardships and trials. And why does He do this? So that when others are troubled, needing our sympathy and encouragement, we can pass on to them this same help and comfort God has given us!(Max Lucado)

Learn to be sensitive. Don’t hide the pain you have gone through if you know it will help someone. Don’t run from those who need you. Be there for them and always remember where to find encouragement is in the Bible and God is always true to His word
