KINDNESS IN LITTLE WAYS

The possibilities for small acts of kindness are endless. We do not have to look too far or too much in our wallet to realise countless opportunities of kindness around us. Here are a few examples…
Open the door for someone with his or her arms full.

Call someone who has not been feeling well or call some just to tell them you love them and wish them a successful day.
Give someone a very generous tip after they have offered you their services either in the restaurant or somewhere else.

Teach a child to play a new game.Children are adorable and anything we do to help a child invariable helps a community.

Ask your housekeeper to stay for dinner. You will be amazed how happy they would be to accept such an offer
Surprise a family member by doing their chores for them. Boys must learn and girls must do likewise

Send an unexpected thank you card to someone who provides a service for you.
Read a story to a child. Every child loves to tell a story so let us learn to tell them good stories that would encourage them to grow up in Christ

Smile at the next person you see. We cant offer money to the beggar on the street, neither can we all give gifts to someone but we can all give a good smile which shows a person he or she is worthy
Tell someone that they are doing a fantastic job. Compliments are like fuel that gives more power to the engine. Learn to give genuine compliments to people

Say a prayer for someone in need. Prayer is always a powerful tool since God is Spirit and He is the one who created us so He knows what our needs are.
Share an inspiring story or thought. Learn to motive and encourage every one you meet.

Small acts of kindness speak in loud voices. They say “I care, I am concerned, I respect you as a person, and I want to share joy with you!”

Today, give someone a smile by performing a small act of kindness. By giving a smile, you will create two smiles—one for the other person and one for you.
