Dear friends, if you believe in Jesus and have been born again by the Spirit then the priestly prayer of John 17:1-26 He prayed before going on the Cross for His sacrifice included you. Jesus poured out His precious holy blood for you. His blood speaks on behalf of you every time in front of God’s mercy seat. In His prayer He prayed that we might be one just as He and Father are one and that we might be in Him. His prayer was that into this oneness between Him and His Father we might be brought in be in a state of completeness and keep being in it. Father loves us just as He loved Jesus Himself. Beloved friends, this is a prayer of Jesus Himself and He always gets what He prays for. Shall we consider stepping into the full understanding and reality of this prayer of His ? If being in a state of completeness in Oneness was not possible then He couldn’t have been able to pray that. Think about it! It is with the help of precious Holy Spirit that we can even enter into the experiential reality of this prayer. If we are not experiencing and living daily in this reality then obviously we are not entering in when its so freely available. Enjoy this short snippet from the visual bible where Jesus prays the priestly prayer and let His words sink into you.

This is where Jesus drastically differs from all of us who have not understood this perspective. He came into this world which was full of problems and caused every situation to abound with glory for God. His language also was very different. He was so busy manifesting the oneness He enjoyed with His Father that He never saw problems as something to worry about. When His disciples wondered how they would feed the people who followed Jesus, He simply multiplied the food. When He came He brought the Kingdom of God with Him. The way the Kingdom of God operates may seem so very different than what we physically see all around us, but that is the real deal. We truly have been called to operate by living from heaven on earth just like Jesus and even more than Him because we have His indwelling presence inside of us at all times, precious Holy Spirit. Not many really know how to walk in this revelation reality but some children of God like brother Graham Cooke know how to make it practical for us. Have a listen! This truly is a call to a higher place but is our home.

People have hurt us and do hurt us, but why are we taking it so personal if we have died to the old nature ? The logic is pretty simple, in Christ we have been made brand new creation and it is also no longer we who live but Christ who lives through us. So if we are taking things personal that only shows we are still identifying with the old man who died by Jesus’ death because it was the old nature which was corrupted with lusts , had dominion of sin over it and was all about selfish ambitions. We as Christians have been called to identify only with Jesus and Him living in us which is possible because we have been made new by His resurrection. Why continue to give ourselves to the old nature when we have already died to it? Often times it does not seem so automatic to act according to the new nature because our minds are not renewed to this truth. Therefore we must constantly keep looking at Jesus’ life and model after Him, because what was not found in His life cannot be found in us. Jesus was deliberately rejected, hurt, tortured, humiliated, betrayed, devalued by people He called His own. Remember that! Our reactions should be so automatic that when people hurt or do wrong to us we should not even be able to see that and instead so see the value of the person infront of us. Why : because love takes no account of suffered wrong. Enjoy this truth filled message by brother Tamas Erdos.
