This is a phenomenal truth filled message Christians need to get. If we as a lifestyle learn to live by the who we in the spirit one with His Spirit, problems will start to look like opportunities to bring glory to God. The amazing aspect of this truth is: we were made to do this and we are nothing but this. Every other behavior pattern or tensions you may be feeling is really not your real you. That’s a relief!
This is a cool talk by Graham Cooke that you cannot miss if you are seeking inspiration. Every Christian has a potential to be a game changer so its a choice to make. Game changers know who they are and how to engage with God who lives beyond time and they never live according to or dictated by their circumstances. They are explorers of God and the most confident people on the planet. Graham Cooke shares that when we are on a journey to become like God there are many upgrades on the way which present themselves as problems. But then a game changer sees these problems as the opportunities or stepping stones to those upgrades. How majestic is that perspective! It takes you out of the situation you are in now, isn’t it? Listen for more as there are so many guiding nuggets your spirit will be attracted to and your soul can step in that direction to change what you are in and who you are. Isn’t it so awesome that God would help us view things in the most fun way possible? It is so far away from the traditional viewpoint we also had of God 🙂
People have hurt us and do hurt us, but why are we taking it so personal if we have died to the old nature ? The logic is pretty simple, in Christ we have been made brand new creation and it is also no longer we who live but Christ who lives through us. So if we are taking things personal that only shows we are still identifying with the old man who died by Jesus’ death because it was the old nature which was corrupted with lusts , had dominion of sin over it and was all about selfish ambitions. We as Christians have been called to identify only with Jesus and Him living in us which is possible because we have been made new by His resurrection. Why continue to give ourselves to the old nature when we have already died to it? Often times it does not seem so automatic to act according to the new nature because our minds are not renewed to this truth. Therefore we must constantly keep looking at Jesus’ life and model after Him, because what was not found in His life cannot be found in us. Jesus was deliberately rejected, hurt, tortured, humiliated, betrayed, devalued by people He called His own. Remember that! Our reactions should be so automatic that when people hurt or do wrong to us we should not even be able to see that and instead so see the value of the person infront of us. Why : because love takes no account of suffered wrong. Enjoy this truth filled message by brother Tamas Erdos.
