In life no matter what happens we have something to be grateful and thankful about. The greatest miracle in life is life itself. If we have life then it means there is hope. The Bible says there hope for the future says the Lord. Things should not put us down, but in everything we should find the good in them. God is more than able.
Be thankful and grateful for the taxes you pay, because it means that you have a job that sustains you.
Be thankful for the mess you have to clean up after a party, because it means you are surrounded by friends who can enjoy your moments with you.
Be thankful for the clothes that fit too snug because it means you have enough to eat at the moment
Be thankful for your shadow that watches you work, because it means there is a lot of sunshine to make your day bright.
Be thankful for the lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing, because it means you have a home. A lot of people are living under bridges and in slums.
Be thankful for all the complaining you sometimes may hear about the government, because it means that you have freedom of speech. Most governments are not democratic.
Be thankful for the parking spot you find at the far end of the parking lot when you go shopping, because it means you are capable of walking, and that you are blessed to have a car you can drive in.
Be thankful for the huge heating bill, because it means you are warm in winter.
Be thankful for the lady behind you in your place of worship when she sings off key, because it means that you have good ears and that you can hear.
Be thankful for the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means you have clothes to wear and you do not have to wash with your hands.
Be thankful for weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means you have been capable of working hard during the day.You were not bed driven with sickness
Be thankful for the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it means that you are alive and ready to have another 24 hours to spend.
Finally be thankful for the many e-mails you get daily, because it means you have friends and people who are thinking about you.
