UNWAVERING FAITH IN GOD’S WORD

Unwavering faith in GOD’s word, what does it mean? It means to stay still onto what GOD says exactly. A man or woman of GOD should stand where GOD asks them to stand, not to the right a little bit, not to the left a little bit; exactly where GOD wants them to be. There are people who do all that what the GOD says, but they take God’s words and thread it a little bit and then stand there; wrong! You are not supposed to make your own version of GOD’s word; you are to take His words literally and to stand there firmly. Anything He has said will happen if you make a little modification to his words and create your own version? Horrible!

The last chapter of the last book in Bible speaks in its next to last two versus about this.  “For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book” (Revelation 22: 18, 19 KJV)

Adding or subtracting to God’s words; that is not faith at all. If you trust someone then you will take their words for it and you will not go looking to research whether what they said was true or not. Many Christians today are Bible researchers because they do not trust in GOD almighty. They are testing God’s words, and of course, I would say that they are testing the Most High Himself.

“Ye shall not tempt the Lord your God, as ye tempted him in Massah” (Deuteronomy 6: 16 KJV). GOD knows what He says and don’t think you can mess Him up like you would do to your puppy. Our GOD is the Almighty; He is not your research subject for you to play with.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11: 1 KJV). The bible tells us of faith, that the faith is not to be “seen”. There is evidence but for what is not seen. If you look for it, there is evidence, and that’s all what you have. Stop arguing with GOD almighty and start listening and doing! That is the unwavering faith.

But don’t be shy to admit that you have been wandering about God’s words and did not want to trust Him the first time. The father of faith, so is Abraham called by Christians today; even he laughed at God’s words. But He did believe in GOD. “Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear?” (Genesis 17: 17 KJV).

Every man is sinful in nature, but we are all called for the most holy’s treat and blessings. How do we get there? We stand where He wants us and we walk where He tells us; all through and only through unwavering faith in GOD’s word.
